About Us

Welcome to Twin Oaks Affordable Living. We are comprised of three affordable independent living senior communities as well as a single family home community. Twin Oaks was built with the belief that those that enter our doors are family. Our residents and their loved ones are our highest priority.

Our founder Mary Ann Huber had a vision to provide an inviting place for residents to enjoy their friends, their families, and their independence. In 1981, Mary Ann’s vision became reality when the doors opened of Twin Oaks O’Fallon which is an Assisted Living Senior Community. Her family was proud to support her efforts and so began the legacy of the family business.

After working together for 19 years, family members (Tim and Kathy Blattel, Kim Bauer, and Leon and Louise Blattel) joined in a partnership to expand on Mary Ann’s vision. Twin Oaks Senior Living now offers Assisted and Independent Living options in both O’Fallon and Wentzville. You will still see Mary Ann greeting and assisting residents. She is even known to bake her famous homemade bread for residents.

In 2013 the family expanded Twin Oaks once again when Twin Oaks at Stone Ridge opened.  This community was the 1st of 4 affordable living options that Twin Oaks offers.  Twin Oaks at Stone Ridge is a senior community for those 55 and above in the heart of Wentzville, MO.  This complex has both 1 and 2 bedroom options with a total of 48 apartments.

In the summer of 2016 the affordable living option was expanded for seniors to include Stone Ridge Senior Villas.  Located across the street from Twin Oaks at Stone Ridge,  it is also in the heart of Wentzville, MO.  There are 20 villas available for rent and these are a popular option for senior living.  The villas are available to those 55 and above and are all 2 bedroom, one bath, with a one car garage.

Twin Oaks once again expanded our senior affordable living to Lake St. Louis, MO in December of 2016.  Lake Ridge senior living is a beautiful 49 unit complex located near shopping, dining, and entertainment.  Both 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments are available to those 55 and above.

Chestnut Ridge is the newest affordable living option in Moscow Mills, MO.  In 2017 Twin Oaks was excited for this new and different affordable living option.  This is a community of 40 single family homes available for both families and seniors.  This community boasts 3 bedroom, 2 bath homes, with a single car garage, and the possibility of owning the home in the future!
